COVID-19

The ongoing Covid-19 outbreak is already having a huge impact on small businesses and homes throughout the UK, and we’re all still coming to terms with what this will truly mean.

We are committed to providing a safe and secure home to all tenants, at all times.

Any non essential maintenance requests that have been booked in will be cancelled.  Any that are reported, will be delayed until such time as it is practical to rectify.  You can continue to report non essential maintenance jobs though the maintenance portal.

All property inspections and visits will be cancelled.

Of course in the event of an emergency, our contractors remain prepared to come out to properties but clearly we have the risk that a number may be self isolating at the same time, so it is likely that we may need to prioritise maintenance.

All heating and electrical issues will be dealt with as a matter of priority and we would direct you once again to our maintenance portal which has lots of advice on how you could potentially solve any common issues yourself.  The link on where to report any maintenance issues can be found below.

The link can also be found on our website under the tenant section.

If you do require someone to attend the property, we would request that you inform us before hand if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 so that we or our contractors can take the necessary steps.  We may need to speak to you directly before attending to ensure that we are following the current guidelines.

As we cannot predict the length of this virus, it may be the case that we will need to arrange safety certificates at the property.  At present, the government haven’t clarified their position in regards to matters such as landlords annual gas safety checks.  We have decided that it is prudent for these to continue unless you have specifically been diagnosed with Covid-19 or are showing symptoms.  If we contact you to arrange a gas safety inspection, please let us know if this is the case, so that we can work with you to determine how best to proceed.

We wish you all good health and hope that you and your families remain safe during these unprecedented times.
